1. What does this Privacy Policy mean?

In this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Policy”), we provide you with information about how UAB GBY (hereinafter referred to as “Gby”) processes your personal data obtained:

  • when you visit the website www.gbytrucks.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”);
  • when Gby provides services to you;
  • when you take active actions on Gby’s social media accounts;
  • when you register on our website and log in to your account;
  • when Gby conducts direct marketing;
  • when you apply for job openings at Gby;
  • when you submit inquiries to us.

Hereinafter, all individuals listed below whose data is processed by Gby are referred to as “Clients.” The Privacy Policy also sets forth certain obligations for Clients, which must be observed when visiting the website.

UAB GBY, legal entity code 179435940, with its registered office at Pramonės g. 30-4, LT-72320 Tauragė. 3. What is personal data?

Personal data is any information collected by Gby about a Customer that can be used to identify the Customer and is stored electronically or by other means.

Personal data includes any information, such as the Customer’s first name, last name, address, and IP address, that Gby collects about Customers for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy or in a separate consent form or agreement with Gby.

This data also includes personal information about Customers that is publicly available, which Gby becomes aware of when a Customer contacts Gby via social media or takes active actions on Gby’s social media accounts.

4. How do we collect your data?

How we collect your data depends on the services we provide to you or the nature of our collaboration.

Gby processes data:

  • data received directly from the data subject (you), e.g., when you send us inquiries or messages via the specified contact information, sign a cooperation agreement with us, or when you send us your resume when applying for job openings, fill out questionnaires, register in our information systems, provide your email address to receive newsletters, etc.;
  • which are generated when you use our services, e.g., when you use our network and services—that is, when you make a phone call, send a text message, browse the internet, visit our websites, etc.;
  • which we receive from other sources, such as, where appropriate, from other institutions or companies, i.e., publicly available registries, insurance companies, etc.

  • to government agencies in accordance with the procedures established by law: the State Tax Inspectorate, the Center of Registers, Sodra, the Labor Exchange, and others;
  • to law enforcement agencies upon their request or on our own initiative if there is suspicion that a criminal offense has been committed, as well as to courts and other dispute resolution bodies;
  • tax authorities.

Your personal data will not be transferred to a third country and/or an international organization. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, we do not disclose your personal data to any third parties.

Gby will refuse to fulfill your rights only in the cases provided for by law.

    • i. for the period necessary for us to verify the accuracy of your personal data when you raise a claim regarding the accuracy of the data;
    • ii. when our collection, storage, or use of your personal data is unlawful, but you choose not to request that the data be erased;
    • iii. when we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim;
    • iv. for the period necessary to determine whether we have a more compelling legal basis to continue processing your personal data, if you have exercised your right to object to the processing of your personal data.

    • i. when we use such data to pursue our legitimate interests, but we do not have a more compelling legal basis to continue using your personal data; or
    • ii. at any time, when we use your personal data to send newsletters or for direct marketing purposes. In such cases, the data will no longer be used for these purposes, but it may be used for other lawful purposes.

17. Liability

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to us is accurate, correct, and complete. If the data you have provided changes, you must notify us immediately by updating the relevant information on the registration form or, if the data is not listed on the registration form, by notifying us via email. Under no circumstances will we be liable for any damages you may incur as a result of providing incorrect or incomplete personal data or failing to inform us of any changes to such data.

18. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any updated or amended Privacy Policy will take effect upon its publication on our website. You should review it periodically to ensure that you are satisfied with the current version of the Privacy Policy.
